Let me start by saying HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO SINGAPORE... NDP in my school( cedar) was fun....As usual it was red..... the day started out with the march by the various uniform group.... they were damn good... coordination was pin-point and the commands were clear and loud.... seriously it was as good as watching the actual march past done by the soldiers at the NDP at marina bay....i m not joking.... what do u expect from a school in which all the uniform groups at least achieve a gold award or the BEST GIRLS UNIT.... like i say dont underestimate cedarians. Then that was followed by the performances. We had 3 dance items for the outdoor segment: the modern dance( sing to the dawn); the malay dance( the union of the elements); the indian dance( AANANTHA KOOTANI, congregation of joy , the one that won us 1st at RI all arts) Each of the item had its specialities.... but still aanantha kootani was said to be really impressive.... oh and thank u all for supporting andcheering.... the parents and teachers and the pricipal( who came just in time to watch us dance) were really mesmerised by our fluid movements, forceful steps and the intricate rythms. Everyone was applauding... like duh.... we didnt win 1st for nothing u noe....lol. yeah then i had to run up to the 3rd floor to line up for my award( for being an outstanding Vice-President of TLDDS). Then the price presentation. Everyone cheered... the normal stuff. After that came the community singing. That was damn fun. I was singing and cheering my heads out. Then halfway through i came out to change. couldnt stand the heat. Then by the time i went back the whole celebration was over....so sad:( Then helped to clear the place... packed my stuff and went off.... somehow i felt that this year's celebration was not as lively and energetic as the previous years. Maybe it is just that the CEDAR SPIRIT is dying.... the previous years were really fun and we used to cheer so loud that we could hardly hear ourselves.... but now i can hear myself!!!! That is not the way it should be!!!! I feel so sad!!!! Even when we jog around the school, the sec3s and the sec4s cheer, but the sec1s... they don even noe the meaning of cheering.... even at competitions they are like 'why must we cheer'...People it has always been CEDAR who wrecks down the place by cheering and we always cheer after every competions no matter how good or bad it was....GET THAT.
MEET THE PARENTS SESSION was damn good. It was better than i expected. My teachers were praising me like no one's business. I was impressed. Needless to say that my parents were impressed too.
Mr Ang(chemistry): She is a pleasant girl who has passion for learning. She is talented as she is both asthetically and academically inclined. She frequently asks questions and it is a joy teaching her. she is a gifted child.
Mdm Audra(english): She actively participates in class and is very responsive. She is an independant learner.
Mdm Faridah(ss/goeg): She has passion for learning and is a gifted child. She is a independant learner and has the thirst to learn. She is also responsive in class.
Mrs Chaiw(Bio): A very good student who always wants to prove her talent. and is multitalented and posesses leadership qualities. She is very responsive and is a joy teaching her.
Ok the list just goes on.... i m tired of writing already....so bye...see ya...
